Bright pink wavy petals, flowers are on tall erect stems with strap shaped vibrant green leaves appearing after flowers. Colour match with pinks and light pastels. Height: 50cm, Flowering time: September - November, Preferred conditions: Full shade or part shade.  x1 bulb for planting.

Nerines are also known as ‘Guernsey Lily’ after establishing themselves on the island from a shipwreck destined for the Netherlands! They flower in the autumn adding new colour when many have faded.

Where to Plant:
Plant straight away in 9cm pots to grow on before planting out after the last frost. Move pots/containers/borders from April. Allow two seasons to establish well.

Care Tips:
Nerines are summer-dormant, with leafless stems that have funnel-shaped flowers in autumn. Strap shaped vibrant green leaves appear after the flowers!
Feeding:
After flowering you can apply a balanced liquid fertiliser weekly for a month to build up the bulbs for next year.
