What is Seed Pantry about?
Established in 2009 Seed Pantry wants everyone to enjoy the rewards of nature and to learn about growing your own veg to eat wherever you live. We specialise in providing the expertise, veg seeds, plants and equipment for growing your own food at home and the work place, from inner city spaces to back garden veg patches.
Growing your own fresh seasonal vegetables, herbs and salads will taste amazing, they're great value and it's fun and rewarding to get all the family involved in producing your own quality food at home.
We have a fabulous selection of grow your own veg seeds, food garden seed kits, baby veg plants and a great range of food garden equipment to help you get going in whatever space you can spare: from the garden veg patch to window sills, backyards, balconies and roof tops.
Products and website features
Seed Pantry's quality veg seed varieties, baby food plants and food garden equipment have been designed and selected so that everyone can grow their own high quality fruit, herbs, salads and vegetables; in pots on the windowsill, balcony or roof terrace and in backyards, courtyards or the garden veg patch!
To get you started we provide friendly growing advice with all our food garden growing kits, food plants and equipment. There is additional support and further encouraging tips / advice that can be accessed on the website to help you along the way.
We have great gifts of grow your own food garden starter kits too with a range of sustainable biodegradable pots made from coconut and rice husks, which can all be tossed on a compost heap after use, leaving no more plastic pots littering your space.
You can also get all the support you need via our Seed Pantry Community pages where you can ask for advice with any question you can think of, get tips and further encouragement from our social network via facebook and twitter. Our experts will help to answer queries along with other Seed Pantry fans, who all have great ideas for growing your own veg at home.

Seed Pantry provides quality locally sourced and sustainable products with a great value service for our customers. We want to have a minimal impact on the environment, so everything is either organic, bio-degradable, recycled (including the packaging), recyclable, or should be re-used for many years - like your favourite trowel!
Our partners have been supplying high-quality materials for over 100 years and we always invest time in researching our partners to ensure sustainability and the environment are important factors in their own business.
We want nature to work for you in a sustainable way without creating unfriendly waste. We are a new business with a fresh approach to growing your own veg and are always looking for ways to improve what we do. We will keep you posted on developments as we go and would always welcome any feedback you wanted to give on how to grow and maintain a sustainable business.
Who’s behind Seed Pantry?
Seed Pantry is a family business set up with a small team whose skills help us provide a great value, customer driven service that focuses on an informative sustainable way to shop and enjoy food growing at home.
From being a novice grower I now have a passion for growing my own veg and at Seed Pantry we enjoy getting our friends and families involved, who think growing their own food is great too. We want to help others enjoy the mouth watering delights of cooking with fresh home-grown ingredients and in the process help to keep our towns, cities and planet a clean and green place to live.
